The Schedule
Here’s a general rundown of the schedule, so you can plan your days. It’s a rough guide, and may need to be tweaked to accommodate unforeseen situations.
Also note: even though most days have free time beginning at 5pm, it’s august in a northern latitude. It’s still daylight until after 10 pm, so there’s plenty of time to see the sights!
Tuesday, August 5
Registration/check-in begins at 8am (breakfast on your own)
Event begins at 8:30am
Rehearsals (with breaks) run until 5pm
-> Lunch and break snacks will be provided
5pm-free time, socializing, etc
Wednesday, August 6
7am - breakfast provided
Event begins at 8:15am
Rehearsals (with breaks) run until 12:45pm
12:45pm-free time, socializing, etc
Take a trip to see the mountains, the badlands, or just play in the hotel’s amenities like the casino or the water play area. Find a cool museum, walk along the river, see the sights. The afternoon and evening are yours!
OR you can head to Banff in style on the AFTERNOON IN THE ROCKIES excursion!
Thursday, August 7
8am - breakfast provided
Event begins at 8:45am
Rehearsals (with breaks) run until 5pm
-> Lunch and break snacks will be provided
5pm - free time, socializing, etc
Friday, August 8
Event begins at 8:45am (breakfast on your own)
Rehearsals (with breaks) run until noon.
-> Lunch on your own
IN THE CONCERT SPACE
1:30pm - 2pm Massed ring rehearsal (everyone)
2pm - 2:30pm ACCENT rehearsal
2:30 - 3:15pm COPPER rehearsal
3:15 - 4:15pm BRONZE rehearsal
4:15-6:15 free time/ change into concert attire / dinner (not provided)
6:15pm - 6:30 - final check that you have all your bells, etc for concert
6:30pm - House opens to audience
7pm - THE CONCERT (incl 15 minute intermission)
9:30 - pack up/ clean up/ goodbyes
Late Night - party like we mean it!
